The University of Texas at Austin Marketing and Communications

Our Process

1. Discovery: Our project starts with a meeting to discuss your needs and goals. From this meeting we develop a discovery brief that outlines project scope, project phases, costs and deliverables. Based on these factors, we build a specialized communication team of designers, copywriters, programmers and other talented professionals who will help you reach your goal. Once you approve the estimate, we issue a work order, and the project begins.

2. Research: Our next step is to define the communication problem to be solved. By understanding your goals, your audience and your success criteria, we can recommend appropriate research tools if necessary, including surveys, focus groups, interviews and workshops.

3. Design: The design process starts with a meeting that brings you, an art director and the design team together to discuss the project specifications, design criteria, budget and schedule. A creative brief is developed based on these discussions and is presented to you for approval. Once the brief is approved, several rounds of design explorations are developed and presented until the best design solution is selected.
